Softball Game Preview: Maui Sabers vs. Kamehameha Maui Warriors

Maui has gone a perfect 10-0 against Kamehameha Maui recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Maui Sabers will square off against the Kamehameha Maui Warriors at 10:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Maui easily dispatched Kamehameha Maui on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Maui fell just short of King Kekaulike by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Sabers have suffered since March 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Kamehameha Maui was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Maui, falling 17-5. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Kamehameha Maui's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Maui, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
