St. Joseph scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 92-86 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McMahon Senators. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (67), the Cadets still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph lost, don't look at TJ Wright. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 17 to rack up 24 points and six assists. That's the most assists Wright has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Noah Adolphe, who went 5 for 8 en route to 14 points.

St. Joseph has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for McMahon, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will head out to challenge New Canaan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McMahon, they are taking a road trip to take on Wilton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
