Basketball Recap: Rahzel Ewart Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Thomasville

Lexington won the last time they faced Thomasville and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Lexington Yellowjackets' way against the Thomasville Bulldogs as the Lexington Yellowjackets made off with a 69-46 victory.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lexington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rahzel Ewart, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. What's more, Ewart also posted four assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Henderson, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points and five assists.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Thomasville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-13.

Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thomasville, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. East Davidson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.1 points per game this season.
