            Softball Recap: Edgerton Crimson Tide vs. Big Foot Chiefs        
        
		
        
        
            Edgerton extended their losing streak  to ten  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-13 in the process. They came up short against  the Big Foot Chiefs, falling  12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  20-3  back in April.
As for Big Foot, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won seven contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 For Big Foot's part,  the team  relied heavily on  Lily Wolf, who  fired off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 2-for-2. Those  six  RBI gave  Wolf a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Leah Paulsen, who  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Edgerton is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Brodhead  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Big Foot will  square off against  rival Evansville  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
