Recap: Montabella Mustangs vs. Carson City-Crystal Eagles
The Montabella Mustangs won the last time they faced the Carson City-Crystal Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Montabella walked away with a 59-46 victory over the Eagles. Montabella pushed the score to 51-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.
Carson City-Crystal's loss came despite strong showings from Cole Smith and Klouse Andrews. Smith scored 15 points, while Andrews scored 13 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Ackels, who scored five points.
Montabella's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Carson City-Crystal, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10.
Montabella will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carson City-Crystal, they will be playing at home against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
