Baseball Game Preview: Pascagoula Panthers vs. West Harrison Hurricanes

The Pascagoula Panthers will challenge the West Harrison Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pascagoula is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Pascagoula might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-5 to George County, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, West Harrison suffered their biggest loss since March 25th on Saturday. They lost 13-3 to Long Beach. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Conner Criss was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Cameron Sandel, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Pascagoula's record is now 8-16. As for West Harrison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Pascagoula was able to grind out a solid victory over West Harrison when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
