Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 36th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 63-33 loss at the hands of the Bettendorf Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the River Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 70th).

Clinton's record is now 0-13. As for Bettendorf, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

While Clinton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
