Football Recap: Piketon Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Piketon entered their tilt with Adena on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Warriors 27-7. The Redstreaks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Among those leading the charge was Jayce Johnson, who picked up 122 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 122 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Piketon's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Piketon's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Adena, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5.
