Softball Recap: Immaculata-La Salle Takes a Loss

Immaculata-La Salle fell victim to Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Cyclones. The Royal Lions haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Immaculata-La Salle's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Immaculata-La Salle will head out to challenge Lourdes Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Lourdes Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.14 runs per game on average), something Immaculata-La Salle will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-4 win against Marathon on the 27th.
