Basketball Recap: Augusta Southeastern Comes Up Short

Augusta Southeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 76-62 to the Mendon Unity Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Suns this season, with their most recent loss being a 70-56 defeat back in January.

Augusta Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Mendon Unity, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Augusta Southeastern is taking a road trip to challenge Bushnell-Prairie City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mendon Unity, they will be playing at home against Quincy Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
