Volleyball Game Preview: Columbia Raiders vs. Firelands Falcons

Columbia is 2-8 against Firelands since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Raiders will welcome the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Columbia sitting on four straight wins and Firelands on eight.

On Thursday, Columbia was able to grind out a solid victory over Brookside, taking the game 3-1.

The win didn't come easy: Brookside scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Firelands hadn't done well against Buckeye recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Falcons came out on top against the Bucks by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17.

Firelands' victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Columbia, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
