Stratford hasn't had much luck against Masuk recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Red Devils will take on the Panthers at 4:15 p.m. Stratford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

While Stratford's win against Kolbe-Cathedral wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 victory over the Cougars on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ashlyn Tracy, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Sowitcky, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Masuk fell victim to New Milford and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Masuk fell to 11-1. As for Stratford, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Stratford suffered a grim 31-5 defeat to Masuk in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
