Softball Recap: Royal Knights vs. Othello Huskies
On Tuesday Royal's undefeated season almost came to an end. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Othello Huskies 3-1. The three-run effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Jill Allred made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
