Softball Recap: Conestoga Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Conestoga had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Haverford Fords. The four-run effort marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Conestoga's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Haverford, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Conestoga will face off against rival Upper Darby at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Haverford is set to take on their familiar foe Ridley at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
