Volleyball Recap: Calipatria Comes Up Short

Calipatria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Somerton Toros.

Calipatria's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Somerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Calipatria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Palo Verde Valley on the 25th. As for Somerton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kofa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
