Football Recap: South Range Finds Playoff Glory Versus Berkshire

It's playoff time, and South Range had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 46-7 win over the Berkshire Badgers. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won six games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Berkshire's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Cameron Beam and Sam Barcikoski. Beam picked up 156 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Barcikoski threw for 196 yards and one TD. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 82 yards.

The victory made it two in a row for South Range and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points over those games. As for Berkshire, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Coming up, South Range will challenge Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Berkshire does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
