Soccer Recap: Bryant Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elberta last Friday, Bryant came back down to earth. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Baker Hornets who were credited with the victory on Monday. The Baker Hornets got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Bryant Hurricanes' two. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Baker this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

With the defeat, Bryant broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8-2. As for Baker, the win got them back to even at 6-6-2.

While Bryant had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
