The Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool Paladins will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Thursday. They fell 7-3 to Christian Home Educators Fellowship.

For Christian Home Educators Fellowship's part, Luke Babin made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Babin has posted since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Christian Home Educators Fellowship is 5-1 when Babin posts two or more runs, but 1-6 otherwise.

In other batting news, Aaron Taylor was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Hudson Champlin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
