Baseball Recap: Indian Lake Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Indian Lake and Urbana meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Lakers lost 8-2 to the Hillclimbers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lakers have suffered against the Hillclimbers since April 11, 2018.

Indian Lake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madden Lillard, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Cooper Hall also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Indian Lake's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Urbana, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-12.

As of now, neither Indian Lake nor the Hillclimbers have any future games scheduled.
