Volleyball Recap: Pillager Takes a Loss

Pillager was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Royalton Royals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Pillager's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Royalton, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 19-5.

Pillager does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Royalton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sauk Centre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
