Baseball Recap: Piute Takes a Loss

Piute fell victim to Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Buffalos by a score of 1-0. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piute's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Valley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piute will venture away from home to square off against Altamont at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbirds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pinnacle at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
