Volleyball Game Preview: Lutheran Lions vs. Pueblo South Colts

The Lutheran Lions will challenge the Pueblo South Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lutheran lost 3-0 to Cheyenne Mountain on Saturday.

Lutheran couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Cheyenne Mountain a tough time in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 25-15, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Pueblo South made easy work of Canon City on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Pueblo South might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Canon City scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 28-26, 25-19.

Lutheran has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Pueblo South, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
