Recap: Freeland Falcons vs. Grand Ledge Comets
On Saturday, Freeland was able to grind out a solid victory over Grand Ledge, taking the game 48-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Freeland.
When it comes to explaining why Grand Ledge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elyjah Hendricks. Despite the final result, he scored 28 points. Hendricks scored a full 68.3% of Grand Ledge's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Freeland's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Grand Ledge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeland's road trip will continue as they head out to face Frankenmuth at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Grand Ledge, they will square off against Lapeer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
