Baseball Preview: Alief Hastings Bears vs. Fulshear Chargers
The Alief Hastings Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Fulshear Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Alief Hastings has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

For Fulshear's part, Trey Giametta made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Giametta has allowed since back in February. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI.

Riley Chamberlain was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Fulshear always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .696. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win was the third in a row for Fulshear, bringing their record for this year to 14-4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23 runs. As for Alief Hastings, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.
