Basketball Recap: Plainfield South Has No Trouble Against Yorkville

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plainfield North, Plainfield South was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-38 victory over the Yorkville Foxes. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 68-38 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Plainfield South has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Yorkville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Plainfield South Cougars take on the Oswego Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Yorkville, they will welcome Plainfield East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
