Brewer typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Austin proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 8-5. The Black Bears haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Trey Harville, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Paxton Branum also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Austin's record is now 13-6. As for Brewer, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Austin is taking a road trip to take on West Morgan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Black Bears will need to watch out since the Rebels have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Brewer, they will welcome Gadsden City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
