Baseball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

Fairfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the West Springfield Spartans, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Fairfax's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for West Springfield, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfax will venture away from home to take on South County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Springfield, they will head out to face off against Battlefield at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
