 In what's become a running theme this season, Mona Shores gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They never let the Union Red Hawks onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Mona Shores considering their two-run performance the  game before.
  Nate Opfermann tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits over five innings pitched.
 At the plate, Mona Shores let  Jaden Thomas and  Brady Tilden loose on the outfield. Thomas  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2, while  Tilden  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.  Eli Habetler was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Mona Shores' victory was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-5. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
 Mona Shores will head out on the road to  square off against  Union at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. As for Union, they will be playing at home against West Michigan Aviation Academy at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.
