 The Leyden Eagles will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Taft Eagles at 6:15  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Last Monday, Leyden beat Addison Trail 4-2.
 Leyden hit Addison Trail with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Tereza Cerna, 
 Julissa Suarez, 
 Ximena Magana,  and 
 Lizeth Montiel.
 Meanwhile, Taft put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Lincoln Park  a   4-0 shutout. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Taft.
 Leyden pushed their record up to 7-2 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 18  goals over those four  matchups. As for Taft, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record  this season.
