Walker won against Dutchtown last Thursday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Everything went the Wildcats' way against the Denham Springs Yellowjackets as they made off with a 7-1 win. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Walker and bumps their season record up to 19-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Denham Springs, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 20-9-1.

Coming up, Walker will host St. Michael at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Denham Springs will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' matchup: after the Wildcats faces off against the Warriors, they'll take on Denham Springs again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
