Football Recap: Ladysmith Takes a Loss

Ladysmith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 26-8 bruising from the Cadott Hornets. The Lumberjacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Ladysmith's record is now 2-6. As for Cadott, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Ladysmith will head out on the road to face off against Cameron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lumberjacks will be up against the Comets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cadott, they will be playing at home against Unity at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
