Soccer Game Preview: Lake Worth vs. Eagle Mountain

The Lake Worth Bullfrogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Eagle Mountain Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Mountain took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Worth, who comes in off a win.

Lake Worth's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast by a score of 2-0. The Bullfrogs have beaten the Phoenix the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Phoenix has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Eagle Mountain fell victim to Lake Dallas and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 682nd, while the Falcons are ranked 153rd).

Lake Worth's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Eagle Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's still a better percentage than their 3-10 record this season.
