Volleyball Recap: Stuarts Draft Comes Up Short

Stuarts Draft was the 3-1 winner over Buffalo Gap when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bison on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Stuarts Draft's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Buffalo Gap, they moved to 4-15 with that victory, which also ended their 12-match losing streak.

Stuarts Draft and Buffalo Gap could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Cougars (ranked 225th) will meet Wilson Memorial (ranked 39th) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Buffalo Gap will square off against Rockbridge County at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (286 vs. 134).
