Volleyball Recap: Monrovia Takes a Loss

Monrovia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Temple City Rams. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Monrovia wouldn't go down easily and took Temple City into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-15, 25-19, 19-25, 15-13.

Monrovia's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Temple City, they moved to 9-10 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Monrovia nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
