Baseball Recap: Goldwater Comes Up Short

Goldwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Thunderbird Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 last Monday.

Goldwater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Mayberry, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Goldwater's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Thunderbird, their record now sits at 11-8.

Looking ahead, Goldwater will be playing at home against Arcadia at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Thunderbird, they will head out to take on Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
