West Linn has gone 8-2 against Tigard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the West Linn Lions take on the Tigard Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in West Linn's favor as the squad sits on 12 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Tigard has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

West Linn will head into Friday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 31-point drubbing they dealt Lake Oswego on Friday. West Linn blew past Lake Oswego 81-50. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tigard ended up a good deal behind Tualatin on Friday and lost 74-58. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Timberwolves are ranked second).

Tigard's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for West Linn, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
