Volleyball Recap: Richards Comes Up Short

Richards lost against Iola back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Richards may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Richards' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Iola, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Richards will square off against New Waverly at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Iola, they will take on Mumford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
