Basketball Game Preview: Huron River Rats vs. Monroe Trojans

Huron is on a four-game streak of home losses, Monroe a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Huron River Rats will host the Monroe Trojans at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Huron had to suffer through a 65-28 loss at the hands of Skyline. While losing is never fun, the River Rats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while the Eagles are ranked 225th).

Meanwhile, Monroe came up short against Northview on Monday and fell 59-49.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Huron, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.
