Softball Game Preview: Eustace Bulldogs vs. Quitman Bulldogs

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Eustace is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs last Friday, they were much more limited against Edgewood on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edgewood. Eustace hasn't had much luck with Edgewood recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Eustace saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Quitman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 22-5 to Edgewood.

Eustace's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Quitman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Eustace suffered a grim 12-5 defeat to Quitman in their previous meeting back in April of 2018. Can Eustace avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
