Volleyball Game Preview: Erwin Warriors vs. Madison Patriots

The Erwin Warriors will square off against the Madison Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Erwin is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Thursday, Erwin got the win against Mitchell by a conclusive 3-0.

While Erwin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Madison posted their closest win since September 17, 2024 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Tuscola 3-2.

Madison was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 13-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Erwin's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Madison, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
