Softball Recap: Bellflower Takes a Loss

Bellflower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-3 to the Paramount Pirates. The Buccaneers were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Jazelle Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Bellflower's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Paramount, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coming up, Bellflower will head out to square off against Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paramount, they have already played their next match, an 8-3 loss against St. Paul on the 8th.
