Softball Recap: Legacy Charter Comes Up Short

Legacy Charter and Foundation Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Legacy Charter had to settle for second. They lost 15-0 to the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Legacy Charter now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Foundation Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Legacy Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foundation Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mount Dora Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m.
