Redwood benefitted from Gilcrest in 70-64 victory
On Tuesday Cole Gilcrest was dialed in and dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. He played a big game the last time he faced Porterville, so the team probably should've seen him coming. He's been particularly strong when it comes to rebounds, as the game was his sixth straight with eight or more. For the year, Gilcrest has averaged 12.7 points, 3.6 blocks, and 11.7 rebounds per game.
Gilcrest and Redwood will be playing at home against Monache at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Gilcrest will face off against Emmett Focke, Monache's star center. Will Gilcrest turn in another gem to overcome Redwood? We'll have our answer very soon.
