Soccer Recap: Westminster Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Westminster finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boulder Panthers. That makes it the first time this season Westminster have let down their home crowd.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Boulder, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Westminster and Boulder should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. Wolves will face off against Mountain Range at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (29 vs. 177). Meanwhile, Boulder (ranked 12th) will meet Brighton (ranked 161st) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
