Basketball Recap: Northwestern Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Northwestern put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They slipped by the Miami Stingarees 67-66. That's more bragging rights for the Bulls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwestern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Giovanny Desire, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Desire is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. Jamiro Smith was another key player, going 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds.
