Volleyball Recap: Yucaipa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yucaipa came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Redlands Terriers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Terriers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Yucaipa was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Redlands work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-24, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Yucaipa lost, don't look at Carly Mulvihil. Despite the final result, she had four digs and two aces. Mulvihil has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Yucaipa's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Redlands, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

Yucaipa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redlands, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cajon on the 15th.
