Volleyball Recap: Prospect Comes Up Short

Prospect lost against Maine West back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Maine West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Prospect and Maine West should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Knights (ranked 49th) will meet Rolling Meadows (ranked 144th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Maine West will square off against Maine East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (12 vs. 75).
