Volleyball Recap: Catholic Memorial Takes a Loss

Catholic Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the St. John's Pioneers. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Catholic Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. John's, they pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Catholic Memorial will challenge rival Xaverian Brothers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. John's is set to square off against their familiar foe St. John's Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
