Football Recap: Amite Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Amite lost against Hammond back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors took a 10-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tornadoes. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hammond's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zalen Bennett, who rushed for 144 yards while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.

Amite now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hammond, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Amite wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 43-7 victory against Independence on the 19th. As for Hammond, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-7 win against East St. John on the 19th.
