Softball Preview: South Newton Rebels vs. Benton Central Bison
The South Newton Rebels will face off against the Benton Central Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Benton Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on South Newton, who comes in off a win.
South Newton took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Milford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rebels had just enough and edged out the Bearcats 6-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Briley Iseminger made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
